Dash plans to open in fall 2026 at 9619 N. Hayden Road, Suite 101, in Scottsdale’s McCormick Ranch neighborhood, according to AZ Big Media. An opening date has not yet been announced.

Chef Matt Carter and partner Brian Raab are developing Dash through Broken Plate Hospitality, the restaurant group behind Zinc Bistro, The Mission, and Fat Ox. Dash will be the group’s first new concept in a decade. Longtime Fat Ox pastry chef Lisa Graf is working with Carter on the menu.

The idea for Dash is personal for Carter, a Scottsdale native and Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame chef who has lived in McCormick Ranch for 17 years. He spent about a decade thinking about opening a casual restaurant in his own neighborhood.

The dining room will seat 12 guests and feature a vintage-style sound system. A west-facing patio will add another 40 seats, and customers ordering online will have access to a dedicated curbside pickup area.

Dash will initially serve coffee, freshly baked pastries, salads, and sandwiches. Roman-style pizza, charcoal chicken, soft-serve ice cream, and daily specials will join the menu when evening service begins.

The market will sell take-home foods Carter created for his other restaurants, including mac and cheese, chips and guacamole, and handmade pasta.

Broken Plate Hospitality has not yet released Dash’s complete menu or operating hours. Follow Dash on Instagram for menu previews and opening updates.
