Casa Ramos of Heber appears to be expanding to the Mesa market. The family owned and operated Mexican restaurant recently filed a permit application for 1526 E Main St, on the corner of E Main and N Hunt Drive.

Although we were unable to reach owner Kenny Ramos at the time of publication, the permit application indicates the restaurant will open in a “rebuild of a 5,630 square foot 1st story” space. Following their Heber flagship in 2007, this will be Casa Ramos’ second location to open.

If you aren’t a fan of long drives, you’ll be glad to hear this eatery is headed somewhere a bit more local. The eatery offers a dinner and lunch menu as well as a lengthy list of specialty bourbons and tequilas for your indulgence. The menus boast an array of seafood as well as the house specials or “decade long best sellers.” The restaurant has a kids menu, too, complete with taquitos, burritos, and more, so there’s really no reason not to try out Casa Ramos once it opens in Mesa.
