John Milleson, franchise owner of Mr. Brews Taphouse, says it’s looking like a June 16th opening for the new Mesa location of the burger joint and beer hall. Mr. Brews in Mesa will have 42 beers on tap, Milleson told What Now Phoenix. The space at 1113 S Signal Butte Road, Suite 106 is currently under construction and should have a certificate of occupancy early next month.

Mr. Brews Taphouse originated in Weston, Wisconsin in 2013, on the cusp of the craft beer market boom. Along with anywhere from 40 to 60 beers on tap, the burger joint serves up ‘All American’ burgers with flavor profiles like the ‘Brewschetta’ and the ‘Kentucky Bourbon Classic,’ among others. It also offers black bean burgers, salads, and a kids menu with mac and cheese and chicken tenders.

For Milleson, the franchise makes sense because the company offers a very streamlined burger menu. Milleson also appreciates the company’s support of veterans. “As a veteran I wanted to partner with a company that helped out and supported veterans…and Mr. Brews Taphouse is a huge supporter of Folds of Honor,” an organization that supports the education of children of veterans, Milleson told What Now Phoenix.

Come June 16th, you should be able to head on down to S Signal Butte Road in Mesa for a summer evening of craft burgers and craft brews at Mr. Brews Taphouse.
