On the edge of Marguerite Lake, in the Palm Cove area, Joseph and Ailee Kim will open a new sushi restaurant. The Kims are a husband and wife team who own a few sushi restaurants in the Phoenix area. Sushi Holic, their flagship, is located on E Camelback Road in Phoenix.

The newest venture is yet unnamed, but Kim confirmed it will move into a 2,961 square-foot retail space, Suite 108, in the N Hayden Rd submarket. Starting next month, the new sushi spot will share the submarket with PHX Beer Co. Scottsdale, Froyo Maya, Lakeview Coffee, and others.

It sounds like the concept, including the name for the new spot, is still under development, but Kim says to expect casual dining with Japanese Tapas. Look for the new, locally-owned eatery to open by December 2021.
