A recent Facebook post from At My Place Café in Mesa announced, “We’ll see you all again in September, where we’ll be opening up our new location in Chandler.” The post also thanked the café’s patrons for their continued support through these tough times.
Owner Flordeliza Obregon has been running At My Place Café in Mesa for the last four and a half years. According to AZ Central News, Obregon’s move to Chandler will provide the café with a larger space to make use of. The new café will be housed across from Chandler Fashion Center, which will of course grant access to patrons and employees of the shopping hotspot.
“We are adding more features: the mini coffee area and mini bakery serving some Filipino pastries and bread,” Obregon told What Now Phoenix. “Right now we don’t have BBQ, but we might offer BBQ on certain days of the week.” Obregon said she’s considering serving fruity boboa drinks as well.
If you haven’t had the chance to stop by At My Place Café, just know the restaurant serves up “authentic Filipino dishes—and some with a twist!” as well as some American dishes. The menu rotates, too, so the café suggests you follow their social media to see what’s hot and fresh.
“We’re really excited to open up,” says Obregon. The new location will be across from Chandler Fashion Center, in back of Red Robin and next to PetCo. The café is currently in renovation-mode and hoping to be open and serving customers by the first or second week of September.
