Spinato’s Pizzeria & Family Kitchen is preparing to open its first West Valley restaurant, with a new location planned for GSQ-Goodyear Civic Square in Goodyear. The restaurant is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2027, becoming the company’s seventh location across metro Phoenix.
Construction is already underway at the site near the northwest corner of 150th Drive and McDowell Road. The company expects to begin interior construction once the building shell is delivered in 2027.
CEO Anthony Spinato said the expansion follows years of requests from customers living in the West Valley, many of whom have regularly driven across the Valley to visit existing locations.
“We are grateful that so many of our longtime, loyal guests have taken the time to drive far from their homes to dine at our restaurants. We heard them, and we are so excited to welcome them to our new Goodyear location next year,” Spinato said in a statement.
Founded in 1974, Spinato’s has grown from a single Scottsdale restaurant into a Valley brand with locations in Tempe, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Ahwatukee, Central Phoenix, and North Phoenix.
Beyond its restaurants, the company also operates concession stands at State Farm Stadium and PHX Arena as the official pizza partner of the Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, and Phoenix Mercury.
Known for its Chicago-style pizza, Spinato’s has expanded its menu over the years to include sandwiches, pastas, calzones, salads, desserts, and gluten-free and keto-friendly options.
The announcement also includes an update on the company’s North Phoenix relocation, which What Now Phoenix first reported in April.
The new Bell Road restaurant is now scheduled to open on July 14 at 1107 E. Bell Rd., replacing the longtime location with a larger space.
