The Rush Funplex, a family-friendly dining and entertainment center, is coming to Goodyear.
The City of Goodyear announced that the “Funplex” will open a 74,000 square foot entertainment center, adjacent to the upcoming Ballpark Village at the corner of Estrella Parkway and Yuma Road. The Funplex is expected to open some time in 2026.
Rush Funplex was founded by brothers Matt and Kenny Gertge as a fun indoor place for families to enjoy their time together. The Funplex offers go karts, bowling, laser tag, foam pits, and food. The menu varies by location, but expect fun favorites such as pizza, burgers, wings, and sides at most locations with a few locations offering a more limited menu. The Rush Funplex has multiple locations in Utah and Kansas, and is expanding its reach to Arizona.
The Rush Funplex is opening right next door to Goodyear’s Ballpark Village, a 7.7 acre retail development near Goodyear Ballpark, spring training home of the Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Reds. When it opens, tenants will include Farmer Boys, a fast-casual restaurant known for its farm-fresh burgers and breakfast, Mesquite, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Nautical Bowls, and Starbucks.
