Cavender’s Boot City is preparing two new stores across metro Phoenix, with locations planned in Tempe and Goodyear.

In Tempe, Cavender’s is coming to Arizona Mills at 5000 S. Arizona Mills Circle. The shopping center’s directory lists the retailer as coming soon in Neighborhood 4, with Entrance 4 as the closest mall entrance. The store will be near retailers including Q, dd’s Discounts, and Marshalls.

Cavender’s is also planned for Market at Estrella Falls in Goodyear. West Valley View reported that the roughly 15,000-square-foot location is expected to open this fall. The Goodyear store will bring the chain’s Western apparel and footwear selection to the West Valley.

Cavender’s sells Western and workwear for men, women, and children, with departments for boots, hats, clothing, accessories, and work gear. Its stores also carry brands such as Ariat, Wrangler, and Resistol, as well as Cavender’s own labels.

The company also offers services tied to its Western merchandise, including boot fitting, stretching, and hat shaping.

Cavender’s was founded in 1965 by James and Patricia Cavender in Pittsburg, Texas. The business began with a small selection of Tony Lama boots and has grown to more than 130 stores across 18 states.

Exact opening dates for the new locations have not yet been announced. What Now Phoenix reached out to Cavender’s Boot City, and this article could be updated as more information becomes available.
