Those running low on gas or in need of a quick snack on the north side of town may soon have a new option.
A new QuikTrip location looks to be on the way to 2888 W Sonoran Desert Dr, from a recent city liquor license application. The company already has a large presence around Phoenix and the state. An official location for this gas station is not yet listed on QuikTrip’s website.
Those stopping in a QuikTrip can either shop for a snack or browse their food menu, which features breakfast sandwiches, subs, pizzas and taquitos. Coffees and soft drinks are also available. The company also sells “QT Gift Cards” to spend on drinks, food, merchandise and fuel.
From the application, the new gas station will also sell beer and wine. As of now, there are no other updates on construction progress at the site, but ABC15 Arizona reported in April the company is redesigning all of their stores in 2027, calling it “GEN 4.” The new store will follow the same trend.
While the exact site is not a physical address yet, it will be along W Sonoran Desert Drive, close to the entrance and exit ramps for Interstate 17. A Circle K gas station and convenience store is also close-by at the intersection of North Valley Parkway.
