According to a recent permit filing, Evasion Brewing has filed for an East Portland location at 1030 SE Belmont Street.

A representative of Evasion Brewing was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Portland’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, this will be the second location according to Evasion Brewing’s website. Evasion is described as a “Family-owned microbrewery that crafts uncompromising GLUTEN FREE beers in McMinnville, OR.”

“We source our ingredients from suppliers that sell certified gluten-free ingredients, or (if not certified) can show us their tests to prove their intensive cleaning and handling have resulted in no cross-contamination. Even though we use all gluten-free ingredients, we take our gluten-free claim very seriously and test each and every batch we produce for gluten contamination, just to be triple sure.”

Evasion’s website has two beer categories: mill & barrel series, and core beers. The core beers include Hophoria IPA, Blonde Ale, and Tantamount Stout. The mill & barrel series consists of the Yamhill Punch Wild Ale. “For 2021, our Yamhill Punch was done in the French style of a Bière de Garde, while taking influence from full-flavored and full-bodied orange wines.”
