A new establishment by the name of Ruta Del Mar may be coming to the city soon.
The business recently put in a liquor license for 13550 SE Powell Boulevard on the east side of the city. The restaurant BEST Eats is also listed as being at this location. Along with this, Powellhurst Pizza Company was at the location but is now closed.
There will be full food and alcohol service at the establishment. No menu has yet been announced. The name Rutal Del Mar translates from Spanish to English for “sea route.”
The restaurant will be in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood. This area is home to restaurants such as Takahashi Japanese Restaurant, A La Mexicana PDX and OK NOODLE. SE Powell Boulevard does not have many restaurants along it on the east side, so this would be one of the few operating in this area.
The listed hours for the business are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
