According to a recent permit filing, Old Union Cocktail Lounge has filed for a location in the King area at 4943 NE Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.
A representative of Old Union Cocktail Lounge was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Portland’s request.
While an official opening date and what Old Union Cocktail Lounge plans to offer has yet to be confirmed, according to the permit, the planned operating hours are Tuesday through Saturday. Tuesday through Thursday will be 4-11 PM, while Friday through Saturday will be 4 PM to 12 AM.
The permit filer is listed as Christopher Casson. When doing a bit more research, Christopher is a professional trainer at Me Fit Studios, which shares the same address as Old Union Cocktail Lounge.
According to Me Fit Studios website for Casson’s biography section, “Health and fitness has been a passion of mine for the past 10 years. In 2010 I decided to turn my passion into a career and couldn’t be more happy with the decision that I made. I enjoy meeting and working with new clients and watching the transformation take place not only physically but mentally as well.”
Loop Net states that the property is 20,000 square feet. Alongside Me Fit Studios and the soon-to-be Old Union Cocktail Lounge, according to Google, The Golf Gym PDX and Equitable Giving Circle share the same address.
