According to a recent permit filing, a new concept called Ta Bueno Ne has been filed for 5205 SE Foster Road.
A representative of Ta Bueno Ne was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Portland’s request.
While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to the company website, Ta Bueno Ne is a family-owned business that was officially established in 2022.
“Our family has always dreamt of serving our unique food. Before opening Ta Bueno Ne, our main chef (Yonny) worked at various restaurants in the Portland area for more than 20 years. Yonny honors memories made in Mexico by cooking these dishes and bringing a special piece of Yucatan to you.”

When doing a little bit more research, it looks like Ta Bueno Ne’s original location on NE Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard has been marked as permanently closed. Whether this is a change of location or the new home to Ta Bueno Ne has not yet been confirmed.
