Five Below is opening its first Clark County store at 7809B NE Vancouver Plaza Dr, inside Vancouver Plaza adjacent to a Dollar Tree store in central Vancouver, with a company spokesperson saying the location could open within the next couple of months. The Philadelphia-based retailer recently put up “coming soon” signage at the site.

They sell novelty toys, snacks, beauty items, tech accessories, and trend-focused merchandise, largely priced between one and five dollars. The chain made its full Pacific Northwest debut back in November, opening eight stores across Washington and Oregon on the same day, including a location at Cascade Plaza in Beaverton. That expansion leaned heavily on real estate freed up by Party City’s bankruptcy, with Five Below acquiring lease rights to dozens of former Party City stores nationwide at a 2025 bankruptcy auction, an unusually cheap way to secure ready-to-go retail space in a tight market.

According to the Columbian, Five Below has continued to grow aggressively, as part of a broader push that saw the company open more than 150 new stores during its last fiscal year, bringing its national footprint to more than 1,850 locations across 44 states.

Vancouver Plaza’s location near Fourth Plain Boulevard sits in a well established central Vancouver retail corridor, giving Five Below a foothold in a part of Clark County it hasn’t previously reached.
