HomeGoods is opening a new store at Gresham Station, located at 1090 NW Norman Avenue in Gresham, with a target opening in summer 2027. The 24,566 square foot space was previously occupied by World Market, which moved into an adjacent space within the same shopping center.

HomeGoods is a subsidiary of TJX, the parent company that also owns TJ Maxx, and already operates several locations across the Portland metro area. Gresham Station is also home to stores including Best Buy, Maurices, Ulta and Old Navy, giving HomeGoods a well established retail neighborhood to join.

According to the Portland Business Journal, the lease for what’s being called Oregon’s newest HomeGoods has now been signed, with construction expected to begin imminently. Jay Fetherston, senior vice president of retail for Schnitzer Properties, the company that owns the shopping center, told the outlet that consumers are very excited about HomeGoods joining the lineup.

Fetherston said Schnitzer has reworked most of the tenant mix at Gresham Station recently, calling it a significant reinvention of the center’s identity within the community. He also credited the city of Gresham for moving quickly on permitting, saying everyone from the planning department to economic development to the City Council treated the project as a true partnership, with the permit processed with unusual speed.
