Boston’s Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar is expanding its footprint into Roseville’s Highland Village development at 246 Gibson Dr. The location will be operated by local franchisee Gurtej Gill, who also owned the location at 5511 Sunrise Blvd, which closed in November last year.

Representatives from Continental Development Consultants, the company leading the construction of the building the new restaurant will reside in, met with the Roseville Planning Commission on November 9, 2023 and received conditional approval for permits to begin Stage 2 construction. The scope includes building out a new 10,800-square-foot building on the lot. Boston’s Pizza will occupy approximately 8,100 square feet of restaurant space. The remaining will be office and retail spaces. The construction will also include a central plaza.

Dallas-based Boston’s Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar has 26 operating franchise locations across North America, whereas its sister brand, Boston Pizza Canada has over 400 locations throughout Canada and Mexico. The chain’s extensive menu features over 80 items, including appetizers, wings, salads, bowls, burgers, sandwiches, pastas and other entrees, various pizzas and desserts, and a seasonal menu.

Ryan Reeves, vice president of franchise sales and development for Boston Pizza Restaurants, said the franchise is expanding in California and plans to open four new restaurants in the next two years.
