This past Thursday, the first Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop opened in Folsom. Another Capriotti’s location appears to be in the works at Anatolia Marketplace in Rancho Cordova at 4010 Sunrise Blvd. The location would provide both indoor and outdoor dining space near the corner of Sunrise Boulevard and Herodian Drive. Both locations are operated by Sacramento-based multi-unit franchisee D’Lish US Sandwiches Group.

Business partners Scott Crouch and Will Race signed the multi-unit agreement with Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop in 2021. The Anatolia Marketplace location was part of the initial plans far before the marketplace had broken ground. Now, the sandwich shop is listed as coming soon on the City of Rancho Cordovas website, appearing to be sticking to the original schedule of opening by the end of 2023 or at the beginning of 2024. The multi-unit agreement consists of three locations. However, there is yet any information available regarding where the last store will be.

Las-Vegas based Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is known for its tradition of slow-roasting whole, all-natural turkeys in-house every day. The chain currently has another location in Granite Bay, operated by another pair of multi-unit franchisees Damian and Anna Pascuzzo, unrelated to Crouch and Race.
