Cuatro Amigos Has New Plans in the Works

Permits filed to merge adjacent retail space into the existing restaurant

A popular Mexican restaurant at 2610 Gateway Oaks Dr, Cuatro Amigos Mexican Grill, has filed plans for a remodeling and expansion. The restaurant is expanding into the adjacent suite with a new bar and dining area, in addition to new walls, kitchen equipment, and parking modifications.

Cuatro Amigos Mexican Grill currently occupies Ste 140. The expansion will merge the 1,417 sqft retail space at Ste 130 into the restaurant. Known as a hidden gem in Sacramento, Cuatro Amigos’ is known for its all-day breakfast offerings and daily happy hour deals. The menu features burrito bowls, tacos, various burritos, and classic desserts like caramel flan and churros. The restaurant also has a vegetarian menu and a kid’s menu.

Cuatro Amigos opened about four years ago and has since been serving the neighborhood. Other businesses in the strip mall include Starbucks, Mountain Mikes Pizza, The Sandwich Spot, Ruchi Indian Cuisine, and Fogo de Minas, a Brazilian steakhouse. Thajii Hill, who appears to be the owner of the restaurant under the company name Cuatro Amigos Management Group LLC, was not available for comments.
