A new wine bar is headed to downtown Roseville.

Le Tesh Wine Lounge has secured its license to pour beer and wine at 219 Vernon St, owner Amitesh “Tesh” Diyal recently announced on social media.

A level II certified sommelier, Diyal has spent more than a decade in some of Sacramento’s top dining rooms. He began at Morton’s The Steakhouse before overseeing the cellars at Piatti Ristorante and Ella Dining Room & Bar. After four years as the sommelier at The Kitchen, he moved into wine sales and eventually launched an online bottle shop.

Since 2020, Diyal has cultivated a lively social-media following (@winetalkwithtesh), where he tastes bottles and spotlights his favorites. “My passion lies in connecting great people with exceptional wines, and I’m honored to have your support on this journey!” reads his website.

An opening date for Le Tesh Wine Lounge has not yet been announced, but Diyal told What Now Sacramento he’d share more details soon. In the meantime, follow the venue on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
