A new wine bar is headed to downtown Roseville.
Le Tesh Wine Lounge has secured its license to pour beer and wine at 219 Vernon St, owner Amitesh “Tesh” Diyal recently announced on social media. Alongside a carefully curated wine selection “poured with love,” Diyal told What Now Sacramento that the lounge will offer light snacks.
“Le Tesh Wine Lounge is the next chapter in something I’ve been building for years—sharing good wine and warm hospitality with the people I care about,” said Diyal. “My hope is that when you walk through the doors, it feels like coming over to my place: relaxed, welcoming, and full of good conversation. Whether you’re in the mood to try something new or just want to sip on a favorite, I want this to feel like your home away from home.”
A level II certified sommelier, Diyal has spent more than a decade in some of Sacramento’s top dining rooms. He began at Morton’s The Steakhouse before helping shape the wine offerings at Piatti Ristorante and Ella Dining Room & Bar. After four years as the sommelier at The Kitchen, he transitioned into wine sales and eventually launched an online bottle shop.
Since 2020, Diyal has grown a lively social media presence through his account @winetalkwithtesh, where he spotlights his favorites and shares wine tips with his growing audience.
Le Tesh Wine Lounge is expected to open by August 2025. The bar will initially operate Thursdays through Saturdays from 4 to 10 p.m., with special openings for events and occasions. In the meantime, follow the venue on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates.
