Arc’teryx is coming to Roseville. The Vancouver, British Columbia-based outerwear and mountain sports brand will open its own store at Westfield Galleria at Roseville, 1151 Galleria Blvd., with the opening expected in 2027. It will be the brand’s first standalone store in the Sacramento area.
Until now, local shoppers have mostly found Arc’teryx jackets, shells and layers through outdoor retailers such as REI. The new store will give the label its own showcase in the region, close to the Sierra Nevada, where winter gear and technical apparel are in high demand.
The store is part of the mall’s corridor closure project, which is also bringing in the tea chain CHAGEE and the fitness apparel store Free People Movement. All three are expected to open in 2027. The Galleria is also redeveloping its outdoor promenade into a new district called The Trails.
Arc’teryx joins a long list of new concepts heading to the mall, like Joe & The Juice, the Danish juice and coffee chain, will open a flagship café on the second level of the Nordstrom wing, while Bacio di Latte, a Brazilian-style gelato shop, is coming to the promenade. Arhaus, the home furnishings retailer, is planning its first Sacramento store in the former Forever 21 space, and The Great Big Game Show, an interactive game-show experience, is planning to open inside the mall. IJ Sushi Burrito is also set to join the dining terrace as its first California location.
The high-end Canadian outdoor clothing and equipment company was founded in North Vancouver in 1989 and takes its name from the Archaeopteryx, the earliest known bird-like dinosaur. Known for its premium jackets, shells and alpine gear, the brand has been opening more of its own stores in recent years, including a climbing-focused concept in Venice, California.
The Roseville plans were first reported by the Sacramento Business Journal.
