Club Studio, the luxury fitness concept, is coming to 2111 Gold River Centre Lane in Gold River. The club is listed as an anchor tenant at the Gold River Town Centre, at the southeast corner of Sunrise Boulevard and Gold Country Boulevard.
The gym is run by Fitness International, the company behind LA Fitness and Esporta Fitness. It combines a traditional gym with boutique studio classes and recovery services. Its group classes include Reformer Pilates, cycling, boxing, heated yoga and CS4, a cardio and strength format. Members also get free weights, cardio and strength equipment, functional training areas and locker rooms with saunas.
The clubs focus on recovery as well. Amenities at other Sacramento-area locations include cryotherapy, compression therapy, red-light therapy and hydro massage beds. A juice bar and a retail store are also part of the concept, and personal training is available. Recovery and personal training services cost extra.
It will be the second Club Studio in the Sacramento area. The Citrus Heights club opened in September 2024 at Sunrise Village and drew about 1,000 new members at its grand opening. That location is roughly 36,000 square feet, and Fitness International spent about $10 million on the remodel and equipment.
The club will join Bel Air and Pet Supplies Plus, the center’s other anchors. Other tenants include Wells Fargo, Jack’s Urban Eats, Beach Hut Deli, Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza and The Mimosa House.
Gold River sits along the American River, between Rancho Cordova and Carmichael, and the town centre is a busy stretch of Sunrise Boulevard. The Citrus Heights club is about 10 miles to the north on the same road.
