Another Broken Egg Cafe appears to be in the works for Bandera Pointe in Northwest San Antonio, according to recently filed permit records with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The breakfast and brunch chain is planned for 11625 Bandera Road, Suite 105, where filings call for interior improvements to accommodate the new restaurant space. The 3,300-square-foot project is listed as a renovation with an estimated construction cost of $550,000.
Public records show the project was registered under the name Another Broken Egg Cafe and is slated to begin construction on June 1, 2026, with completion expected in late February 2027. The filing notes that the project is privately funded and that tenant funds will be used for the buildout.
Luis Romero, listed as the tenant, was contacted by What Now San Antonio to confirm whether he is the franchise owner, but did not respond by the time of publication.
Another Broken Egg Cafe offers a more elevated take on the traditional breakfast-and-brunch experience, setting itself apart with a menu rooted in Southern-inspired flavors and chef-driven creations.
Rather than serving standard breakfast fare, the brand has built its identity around what it describes as “craveably” delicious dishes, pairing breakfast, brunch, and lunch staples with a more refined culinary approach. Guests can expect a menu filled with chef-inspired offerings, alongside handcrafted cocktails, spiked cold brews, mimosas, and a full bar.
The concept is known for blending casual daytime dining with a more polished, full-service brunch atmosphere, offering a menu that goes beyond the usual morning staples.
