A new restaurant is planned for Laredo’s Khaledi Plaza, according to recently filed construction records with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Eduardo’s Restaurant is planned for 4020 E. Del Mar, Suite 501, where a 3,000-square-foot space will undergo a restaurant finish-out.

The project, filed under TABS2026026521, has an estimated construction cost of $320,070. Construction is listed as beginning August 3, 2026, with completion scheduled for December 31, 2026.

According to the filing, the work will involve finishing out a restaurant within an existing new building. The project is privately funded by the tenant and is being completed on private property.

Eduardo Acevedo is listed as the owner and contact for the project. Alejandro Arreguin is listed as the registered agent of record.

The construction filing does not provide additional details about the restaurant’s menu, concept or anticipated opening date.
