Clean Eatz, the health-forward concept that offers both a quick-service counter as well as meal plans, is set to make its San Antonio debut this June, when franchisee Howie Hsieh opens his doors at 158 E Sonterra Blvd.
“I had been meal prepping for years while on Active Duty,” Hsieh tells What Now San Antonio “As a veteran who recently separated from the military, this was a concept that I believed in and I’m super excited to be bringing it to San Antonio! Meal prepping is for anyone who wants to save time, build better habits, or create a healthier lifestyle.”
Clean Eatz, which was founded in 2011 and began franchising four years later, has been named one of America’s top 50 fastest-growing small franchise concepts by Restaurant News Magazine, thanks to its multi-pronged business model which includes a dine-in cafe, catering service, grab ’n’ go meals, smoothie bar, and, perhaps most innovative, weekly meal plans.
As the company writes on its website, “Clean Eatz is more than a restaurant that offers healthy food. We are heart-driven to change livez through clean, balanced food, thought-provoking education and motivational support that inspires results. We know personal wellness is not one-size-fits-all, so we craft nutritional products and fitness opportunities that meet the needs of every type of lifestyle.”
While the weekly meal plans regularly rotate, the dine-in menu consists of a number of burgers that can be prepared with a bison, salmon, black bean, or turkey patty. Meanwhile, guests can also choose from a number of wraps, flatbreads, melts, and the signature “makin muscle” menu that “packs a protein punch.”
Like something akin to a restaurant and a personal nutritional coach in one, “Clean Eatz is committed on guiding all people to better lifestyle choices, providing access to innovative nutritional options, engaging educational tools, and inspired motivational support.”
