Tia’s Taco Hut is planning a new restaurant at 4211 E 1604 N, Suite 111, San Antonio, TX 78245, according to a project registration filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The filing, registered Oct. 1, identifies the project as a first-time restaurant finish-out within Aycock Retail.

According to the TDLR filing, the project will involve new interior partition walls and mechanical, electrical and plumbing work. The registered project covers approximately 2,250 square feet and has an estimated construction cost of $225,000. Benny Costello is listed as the tenant, while Unbranded Partners 1604 LLC is identified as the property owner.

According to the company’s website, Tia’s Taco Hut serves Tex-Mex dishes throughout its San Antonio-area locations. Its menu includes breakfast tacos, Mexican breakfast plates, tacos, nachos, soups, salads, burgers and specialty plates. Tacos are available with fillings such as chicken fajita, carne guisada, carne asada, barbacoa, beef fajita and tripa.

The menu also includes breakfast items such as huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, migas and steak and eggs. Other offerings include chicken tortilla soup, fajita nachos, grilled chicken salad, burgers, chicken fried steak, fish tacos and fried seafood plates. The company currently lists 17 locations on its website, including sites throughout San Antonio and one in New Braunfels.
