After 20 years in the Gaslamp Quarter, The Dubliner moved locations last year and Pan Y Vino Restaurant has plans to move in.

While little is known about the new spot going in at 554 4th Ave., a liquor license has been filed with the city for the on-sale general eating place.

Owner Marcos Luciano, who also owns Dobson’s Restaurant and Bar, said they are very early in the process right now and declined to comment further.

Dobson’s has been open in downtown San Diego for the last 36 years and has become a hot spot for business lunches. The food is California cuisine with a touch of Italian, French, Spanish, and Asian cuisine. Found in the heart of the Gaslamp, Dobson’s has become a favorite for lunch, dinner, and cocktails.

At Fourth Avenue and Market Street, Pan Y Vino will add a new option to an already vibrant restaurant scene.
