San Ramon’s dining scene has added a new Turkish restaurant, Meyhouse. It opened its first East Bay location at City Center Bishop Ranch. The restaurant also introduces Meyhouse Jazz, offering live jazz performances while guests dine.

The restaurant occupies a new 5,200-square-foot space serving Turkish and Eastern Mediterranean dishes. The space, designed by Blaine Architects, features warm lighting, bold colors, and flexible dining areas. The layout was designed to accommodate both dining service and live performances.

“Meyhouse brings a unique blend of culinary excellence and cultural experience to downtown San Ramon,” says Jeff Dodd, SVP of Retail. “We’re delighted to welcome Meyhouse as a distinctive new destination for the East Bay.”

Chef Omer Artun developed the menu at Meyhouse, drawing inspiration from his Turkish roots. The menu features Turkish dishes inspired by Anatolian culinary traditions. The menu emphasizes shared dining with selections including hot and cold meze, seafood, and grilled meats.

Guests can also enjoy desserts like baklava and kunefe. The restaurant offers wines from regions including Turkey and Armenia, craft cocktails, and traditional Turkish raki.

“Our mission has always been to bring the flavors and culinary traditions of Turkey to the Bay Area,” says co-owner Koray Altinsoy. “Expanding into San Ramon’s City Center Bishop Ranch allows us to create a true flagship experience here in the East Bay, creating more than a restaurant but a cultural destination where food, community, and music intersect.”
