Brix Factory Brewing is taking over a new space at 2431 Peralta Street #2400 in Oakland, according to a small beer manufacturer license application that has been pending since December 5. The new location will neighbor Mother Tongue Coffee and the manufacturers Blossom Foods and Voyage Foods.

The San Francisco Standard reports that Brix Factory Brewing “will operate out of a long industrial space with two semi-adjoining rooms, with the taproom directly in front of the production space.” They share that the location will be used as both a production facility and a taproom and that the brewery is “on track to open in the spring.”

The names listed on the permit are Michael BoalsJohn Gillooly, Natasha Gillooly, and Allison Krasnow — “a collection of East Bay beer veterans,” according to the brewery’s website.

The brew and food menus have not yet been announced. What Now San Francisco was unable to contact a company representative by the time of publication.
