Cafecito Lounge is preparing to open its third location, continuing the growth of the family-owned coffee shop concept in California. While the owners, Lisbeth Rivera and her husband, Daniel Jimenez, have not yet disclosed the exact address or opening timeline, the new café is expected to be located somewhere in the Bay Area, following the brand’s expansion into Antioch. The upcoming location will join existing Cafecito Lounge cafés in Lodi and Antioch, further extending the company’s reach beyond its Central Valley roots.

Lisbeth Rivera and her husband, Daniel Jimenez, decided to open a coffee shop to serve customers looking for an afternoon coffee. Inspired by Mexican café culture, Cafecito Lounge creates a romantic atmosphere centered on specialty drinks, pan dulce, and a menu blending traditional and contemporary flavors. Menu offerings include horchata lattes, café de olla, matcha drinks, fresh juices, and baked goods such as conchas, along with savory items like tortas.

The inspiration behind Cafecito Lounge comes from the owners’ Mexican American heritage and a desire to share family recipes with the community. According to the company’s website, the concept grew from a longtime dream of owning a small business and creating a space where coffee, food, and culture could come together.

The brand’s philosophy is reflected in its motto, “El secreto de un buen café es con quien lo disfrutas” (“The secret of a good coffee is who you enjoy it with”), emphasizing connection, community, and shared experiences.
