The Meeting Place — a food hall backed by Ikea’s sister company, Ingka, coming to Downtown San Francisco — looks to have decided on its debut tenants.

“Within the last week, five local restaurant operators have filed business registrations at 945 Market Street,” The San Francisco Business Times reports — one of which is the Bay Area’s own Momo Noodle.

For readers unfamiliar with Momo Noodle, the concept was established as a food truck in 2018 by Huijuan Guo and was voted Top 25 Food Trucks in the Bay Area in 2023 by the San Francisco Chronicle. The Momo “pod” regularly appears at Spark Social, a food truck park, beer, and sangria garden in Mission Bay.

Inspired by dry noodle dishes from Sichuan, the Momo Noodle menu boasts Szechwan spicy noodles, hot and sour rice noodles, and spicy chicken noodles, as well as a Szechwan cold, jelly dessert.

In addition to Momo Noodle, the two-level, 23,000-square-foot food hall plans to feature Casa Borinqueña, Curry Up Now, La Venganza, and The Sarap Shop — as well as three bars with local craft beer and wine.

Momo Noodle at The Meeting Place is slated to open in early 2024. Follow the eatery on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
