According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a new pickleball venue with a restaurant plans to open in Oakland, Pickle Athletics.

Coming to 4000 Telegraph Avenue, the establishment will land near eateries such as Arthur Mac’s Tap & Snack, the New American restaurant Homeroom, and the Korean restaurant Ohgane Oakland.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s co-owner, Kady Pooler, to inquire about the upcoming business, but she could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the concept’s website introduces it as: “Oakland’s first social pickleball club, with indoor courts, recovery zones, kitchen, and lounge.”

Concerning the opening date, the website states that Pickle Athletics is “coming soon.” Stay tuned for updates.
