Pure Green is preparing to open its first Bay Area location in Fremont at 37140 Fremont Blvd., according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal. The 1,051-square-foot shop is planned for the city’s Centerville district and is expected to create between 10 and 12 jobs.
Franchisees Ishita and Kunal Bavishi are behind the Fremont location and plan to look for another site after the store opens. The Fremont restaurant will be part of Pure Green, a Florida-based juice bar franchise that has been expanding nationally through franchising.
According to Pure Green’s website, the menu centers on cold-pressed juices, juice shots, superfood smoothies, açaí and pitaya bowls, steel-cut oatmeal bowls, and sourdough toasts. The company also offers event catering and delivery at participating locations.
The company announced that its Pumpkin Spice Smoothie and Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal Bowl will return September 8, featuring ingredients including pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, banana, cashew butter, coconut butter, almond milk, apples, walnuts, and dried cranberries.
According to Pure Green’s website, the Fremont location was chosen for Centerville, one of the city’s original districts and a neighborhood that has developed into a small commercial center. The company points to Fremont’s cultural diversity, outdoor attractions and community-oriented character as factors that make the area a natural fit for its concept.
