Woods Beer & Wine Co. is preparing to open its newest location at 649 San Anselmo Ave., San Anselmo,  according to the company’s website. The San Anselmo location is listed as coming soon, and the company says it plans to break ground later this year.

The business was founded in the Mission near the northwest corner of Dolores Park by CEO Jim Woods and co-founder Matt Coelho. Since then, the bar-cafe has expanded to six locations across San Francisco, with outposts in the Lower Haight, Russian Hill, Outer Sunset, Mission, and Cole Valley neighborhoods.

Woods also produces its own craft beer and wine, while the food menu includes offerings through partnerships with local restaurants and snacks such as Argentine-style empanadas, with fillings including beef, chicken, ham and cheese, mushrooms, and Swiss chard.

According to Woods, the San Anselmo location will serve the company’s craft beer and natural wine. Its beer selection includes MateVeza IPA, a yerba mate-infused West Coast IPA; Retro Pilsner; Local Honey, an herbal ale; and Morpho, a hibiscus ale. The company also produces natural wines using organic and biodynamic grapes, native yeast, and minimal intervention.
