M Social Hotel Sunnyvale is now taking reservations from December 2026, bringing a new lifestyle hospitality experience to the heart of Silicon Valley. Designed around connection, creativity, and modern movement, the 263-room hotel will serve as a vibrant destination for travellers, professionals, entrepreneurs, event organizers, and the local community.

Located within a mixed-use development featuring access to the beautiful man-made lake, a Sunnyvale city landmark, M Social Hotel Sunnyvale introduces a socially driven hospitality experience that reflects the innovative and collaborative spirit of Silicon Valley. Blending contemporary design, technology-enabled experiences, flexible social spaces, and destination dining, the hotel is designed to bring together business, leisure, and community in a dynamic setting.

As a new addition to Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ fast-growing M Social brand, the property reimagines the traditional hotel experience through thoughtfully activated spaces that encourage interaction, discovery, and engagement. Designed for today’s connected traveller, M Social Hotel Sunnyvale offers an environment where work, leisure, and everyday life naturally intersect.

“M Social Hotel Sunnyvale marks an important milestone in the growth of the M Social brand and reflects our confidence in Silicon Valley as one of the world’s most dynamic innovation hubs,” said Kwek Eik Sheng, Executive Director, Millennium Hotels and Resorts in a statement. “As travel and guest expectations continue to evolve, we saw an opportunity to create a hotel that goes beyond accommodation to become a vibrant lifestyle destination that reflects Silicon Valley’s entrepreneurial spirit. We believe M Social Hotel Sunnyvale is well positioned to create sustainable value for our guests, owners, partners and the wider community.”

Designed by BDE Architecture and Mazzarini & Co., the hotel reimagines the traditional hospitality arrival journey through a collection of layered communal environments that evolve throughout the day. Rather than centering around a formal lobby, the property unfolds through activated social spaces defined by lounge seating, flexible gathering areas, collaborative workspaces, and informal moments of interaction that transition naturally from morning productivity to evening social energy. Expansive views and open sightlines connect the interiors to the surrounding setting, reinforcing a seamless relationship between the hotel and the broader community around it.

Built to LEED Gold standards, M Social Hotel Sunnyvale integrates a connected smart-building ecosystem designed to enhance convenience, efficiency, and sustainability. The property features energy-efficient systems alongside digital-first technologies including mobile room keys, self-service check-in kiosks, and robotic service assistants that support seamless arrival and on-property navigation. Guests are also supported by Aiello, an in-room AI personal assistant that assists with personalized requests, provides recommendations, and offers real-time assistance while the hotel maintains a strong emphasis on human-centered hospitality.

“At M Social Hotel Sunnyvale, we set out to create a welcoming gathering place,” said Jakub Skyvara, General Manager of M Social Hotel Sunnyvale. “It is more than a hotel; it is a vibrant gathering place where travellers, creators, entrepreneurs, and the local community can connect, collaborate, and be inspired.”

The hotel’s 263 guest rooms and suites provide a calm, residential counterbalance to the energy of the public spaces below. Designed with a clean, contemporary aesthetic focused on comfort and function, accommodations support both productivity and relaxation for business travellers, extended stays, and leisure guests alike.

At M Social Sunnyvale, the food and beverage philosophy is centered around a simple but powerful idea: Fire, Flavour, Connection. Our signature restaurant, Beast & Butterflies, is an elevated California gathering place inspired by the duality of Silicon Valley itself innovation and humanity, technology and creativity, progress and connection. The rooftop beehive is more than a source of honey; it serves as a symbol for the entire hotel. Like a thriving hive, M Social Hotel Sunnyvale is designed to bring together travellers, innovators, creators, neighbours, and communities, creating energy, collaboration, and connection. Nearby, ctrl+B(ar) reimagines the traditional hotel lounge as a flexible social hub offering coffee, signature cocktails, California local collection of wines and light bites in a relaxed setting suited for both quick meetings and longer conversations. Byte+Hub Market operates as a  self-service grab-and-go concept designed for modern travel schedules, supporting guests any time, day or night.

M Social Hotel Sunnyvale will feature approximately 28,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meetings and events space designed to accommodate everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale activations.

At the center is the Quantum Ballroom, a 6,600-square-foot venue distinguished by soaring 20-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a 12-by-40-foot high-performance LED video wall designed and built in for conferences, launches, celebrations, and large-scale events alike. Meetings are supported by next-generation collaboration tools, including 75-inch vibe boards that function as digital flipcharts with integrated video conferencing and screen-sharing capabilities. A dedicated staging suite provides a private environment for speaker preparation, bridal staging, and behind-the-scenes event operations.

Additional meeting and gathering venues include The Hub, an adaptable space that can be configured for breakout sessions and trainings, and The Grove, an outdoor courtyard for receptions, networking sessions, and evening gatherings. The Commons provides an additional 10,000-square-foot outdoor space built for large-scale activations and community occasions.

Located near Highway 101 and San José Mineta International Airport, M Social Hotel Sunnyvale will provide direct access to Silicon Valley’s leading technology campuses and corporate headquarters while serving as a vibrant social destination for both visitors and locals.

Guided by an ethos of continual discovery, the property is designed to evolve with each visit, reflecting a region defined by innovation, movement, and constant reinvention. More than just a stay, the hotel is intended to become part of the broader Silicon Valley ecosystem, fostering authentic interaction through meaningful connections and a hospitality approach rooted in collaboration.
