Southern California-based chain Angry Chickz — known for its Nashville-style hot chicken — is expanding in the Bay Area, planning to debut a new outpost in Vacaville this spring.

Coming to 1021 Helen Power Drive, the eatery will land near Target, Vacaville Premium Outlets, and Walmart Supercenter.

“We hope Vacaville is getting ready for the flavor explosion of our hot chicken sliders and legendary Angry Mac bowls,” shares David Mkhitaryan, CEO and founder of Angry Chickz, in a recently shared press release.

He adds, “The heat is on its way — and our team can’t wait to meet each and every hangry fan while sharing our love for life-changing hot chicken!”

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, Angry Chickz was founded in 2018 by Mkhitaryan, “who wanted to share his love of spicy chicken with the world.”

“The restaurant has quickly become a cult favorite, known for its flavorful and fiery chicken sandwiches and tenders” — and its upcoming Vacaville outpost will mark its 25th location nationwide.

Angry Chickz on Helen Power Drive is slated to open in April.
