Taco Street appears to be expanding with a new location at 5602 First Avenue South in Seattle.
A new Washington state liquor license application shows Taco Street at the South Seattle address. The application covers restaurant lounge, service bar, and catering licenses.
Elonka Perez is the owner, founder, and executive chef behind Taco Street, which specializes in street food inspired by Mexico’s Chihuahua region.
The restaurant’s menu includes tacos, burritos, tortas, chilaquiles, and other Mexican dishes, along with beer, sodas, house-made horchata, aguas frescas, and its Agua Locas.
Taco Street currently lists three locations: Tacoma Mall at 4502 S. Steele St., Waterfront Market at Ruston at 5101 Yacht Club Rd., and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport’s Central Terminal.
The space at 5602 First Avenue South was previously home to Blind Raven BBQ & Catering, which has permanently closed.
Taco Street has not yet announced an opening date. What Now Seattle reached out to the restaurant for additional information, and this article may be updated as more details become available.
