Cold Stone Creamery, the ice cream chain serving up “The Ultimate Ice Cream Experience Made Fresh Daily” in stores around the country, is preparing to expand to a new location in Bradenton.

According to plan review documents submitted by Dattani Sarasota Inc., the new Cold Stone would open at 7217 FL-64, Suite 102.

Cold Stone offers a highly customizable approach to ice cream and other confections, along with plenty of pre-imagined items. Currently featured choices include The Cat in the Hat’s Cotton Candy Catastrophe, with Blue Cotton Candy Ice Cream mixed with Cith Sprinkles and Oreo Cookies; the Boo Batter Ice Cream Taco (Boo Batter™ Ice Cream wrapped in an orange waffle taco and coated with Chocolate and Spooky Sprinkles); and the Treat or Treat, with Boo Batter Ice Cream, mixed with Halloween Oreo cookies, Kit Kat, and M&M’s.

“For more than 30 years we’ve served up the finest, freshest ice cream, cakes, smoothies and shakes using only the highest quality ingredients, and of course, our signature process of preparing your custom ice cream creation on a frozen granite stone,” says the Cold Stone website. “How good is our ice cream? Well, let’s just say that on a scale of 1 to 10, we’re somewhere around an 11.5. But we’re about more than just serving up amazing ice cream. We like to think we’re really in the business of making people happy…”

Opening in the FL-64 location, Cold Stone Creamery would join a restaurant community that includes Panda Express, LongHorn Steakhouse, Seasons 52, CAVA, and Miller’s Ale House.
