With 5 locations currently in operation, Greenlane is a Tampa Bay-born, drive-thru-only salad and wrap chain that offers food that is “Fast. Filling. Fresh.”
“From the outset,” says the Greenlane website, “we have sought to prove that quick, convenient, affordable meals can be more than a burger and fries. We empower our customers to eat well, without sacrificing taste, time, or budget. Our salads provide the flavorful, filling fuel needed for life in the fast lane. And our salad wraps offer a portable option with your favorite salad inside of a tortilla.”
Now, Greenlane is expanding to a sixth location, this time in Pinellas Park, where an opening is expected at 6401 Park Blvd., according to coverage by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
“Greenlane has filed plans with the Southwest Florida Water Management District to redevelop the former Checkers property at 6401 Park Boulevard, demolishing the existing building and constructing a new 964-square-foot drive-through restaurant,” notes St. Pete Rising. “The Checkers location closed in late 2024.”
Created by Christopher Burch of Burch Creative Capital, the Greenlane concept is based around a menu featuring signature salads and wraps like The Gronk: “Our newest salad/wrap is called ‘The Gronk,’ named after and developed with one of our co-founders, Rob Gronkowski. The Gronk comes with roasted broccoli, roasted sweet potatoes, crispy bacon, green onions, and cheddar jack cheese on a bed of romaine lettuce, paired with our house-made Greenlane Goddess dressing.”
Other Greenlane salads and wraps, which come with dressings like Balsamic Vinaigrette and Creamy Caesar, include varieties like the Golden Greek (Grape tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, kalamata olives, red onion, pepperoncini, red wine vinaigrette, on a bed of romaine lettuce) and Ginger Sesame Crunch (Edamame, shredded rainbow carrots, oranges, red cabbage, roasted cashews, cilantro, sesame ginger dressing, on a bed of romaine lettuce).
