The intersection of North Hercules Avenue and Sunset Point Road in Clearwater appears to be welcoming a new coffee shop into the mix. According to a plan review submitted by Covenant Coffee House LLC, this new coffee spot would open in the small retail center on the intersection’s northwest corner, at 1909 N Hercules Ave.
The retail center in question is already home to businesses like Sunset Jewelry and Loan, Stay Sharp Barbershop, and Two Buks Saloon.
A new cafe could be just what’s missing, especially in a spot just south of Frank Tack Park.
Details on Covenant Coffee House have yet to be released. What Now reached out this week to Carl Ballestero, who is behind the planned coffee shop. Ballestero was not immediately available for comment.
This leaves us guessing about Covenant Coffee House’s timeline for opening and its planned menu offerings.
