The building on the corner of Third Street Northwest and Avenue D Northwest in Winter Haven appears to be the future home of a new seafood restaurant from restaurateur couple Brett and Ashley Hill. The couple is behind Fatcat Equities LLC, which submitted paperwork for a restaurant called Oyster Bar, opening at 362 Third St NW.

The Hills came into the local restaurant scene in 2008, with the opening of Fromage Steaks & Subs (check out this 2011 profile of that restaurant in the Lakeland Ledger).

What Now reached out to Ashley Hill on Friday to inquire about plans for Oyster Bar. Hill was not immediately available to share details, which leaves us guessing for the moment. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for any more details on the restaurant’s menu or opening timeline.

Opening in the Third Street Location, Oyster Bar would join The Social Cocktail Lounge, across the street from Olde Town Square, which is home to Kairos Nutrition. The space at 362 Third Street was formerly occupied by Upper Crust Pizza.

Stay tuned for more details about Oyster Bar as they become available.
