A new restaurant is preparing to open its doors in Auburndale. Called The Abigaile, it will open at 117 E Lake Ave, near Downtown Auburndale Park.
The project has been underway for some time. The restaurant posted an update to its Google profile back in November, saying, “Good news, construction has finally begun. Look for updates coming soon. Patiently waiting.”
No updates have followed yet, but this week, What Now came across plan review paperwork submitted by The Abigaile at Auburndale, LLC for The Abigaile at that address, indicating that the restaurant’s opening is moving forward.
What Now reached out on Friday to Tim and Tina Calhoon, owners of The Abigaile, to ask about plans for the opening. The Calhoons were not immediately available for comment.
As a result, further information about The Abigaile’s opening timeline and planned menu offerings is not available just yet. Stand by for more details!
