Beertown Public House plans to open its 13th location at 780 Erskine Ave. in Peterborough, according to the restaurant’s website.
The restaurant will be next to One Fine Food and Lansdowne Place. The shopping center lists Beertown as opening this fall. An exact opening date has not been announced.
Beertown is part of the Charcoal Group of Restaurants, whose portfolio includes Charcoal Steak House, Martini’s Bar and Patio, Del’s Italian Kitchen, Wildcraft Grill + Long Bar, The Bauer Kitchen, The Bauer Bakery & Café, Sociable Kitchen + Tavern, Moose Winooski’s, and Solé Restaurant & Wine Bar.
Charcoal Group CEO Jody Palubiski began working on Beertown in 2009 after reading a GQ Magazine article about modern beer bars. He opened the first location in Cambridge in 2012, offering craft beer alongside a full restaurant menu.
Beertown now operates 12 restaurants across Ontario, including locations in Barrie, Burlington, Cambridge, Etobicoke, Guelph, London Masonville, London White Oaks, Newmarket (East Gwillimbury), Oakville, Toronto, Waterloo, and Whitby.
