A new Japanese restaurant is on the way to Mississauga. Japanese Fish Market is taking a ground-floor retail space at the Exchange District in Mississauga. Signage is up in the space at 4031 The Exchange, according to Insauga.
The new concept will offer a sushi and sake bar, according to the restaurant’s Instagram page.
Daniel Chaim, formerly of EDO Restaurants and now president of Canada Food Group Inc., is behind Japanese Fish Market.
“Japanese Fish Market is a new restaurant and fresh market concept that brings culinary tradition together with a distinctly contemporary, Japanese-Americana sensibility,”Chaim said via email. “More than just a sushi and Japanese restaurant, customers will experience food, drink, retail, music, and culture together under one roof.”
As of now, the opening timeline for Japanese Fish Market has not been announced. Menu and design details have not been revealed at this time.
The Exchange District will feature more than 2 million square feet of retail, dining, office and commercial space.
