Ottawa smash burger joint Smash Daddy is expanding to Toronto. The brand will open at 1112 Queen St. W., marking its sixth location, according to a recent social media announcement. The location previously housed PG Clucks.
The menu is simple, centering around a classic smash burger and fries. The brand offers smash burgers served on brioche buns with melted cheese, dill pickles and sauce. The hand-cut fries are fried in beef tallow and are served with the Smash Daddy sauce.
Other menu offerings include a Wagyu burger and shrimp and chips.
The team announced that they plan to open the new Toronto location in mid- to late September, with an exact opening date expected to be announced in the coming days.
