Mizzica Gelateria & Cafe is preparing to open its third Toronto location, with signage already installed at a storefront on St. Clair Avenue West, according to local reports.

The gelateria plans to open at 1080 St. Clair Ave. W., near the intersection of St. Clair and Dufferin in the Regal Heights Village neighbourhood. Mizzica is an award-winning gelateria known for its Italian-style gelato and café offerings.

Its original location at Queen and John streets has attracted long lines, and the business opened a second Toronto location on Yonge Street in 2024, according to blogTO.

The new storefront will mark Mizzica’s third location in Toronto. An official opening date has not been announced, though signage is already in place and the space appears to be progressing toward its debut, according to blogTO.

The St. Clair Avenue West corridor is home to a mix of restaurants, cafés, and independent businesses serving neighbourhood residents. The area also includes parts of Little Italy and Corso Italia, with Regal Heights Village located farther west along the corridor.

What Now Toronto has previously covered businesses opening in the area, including Arthur’s Snackette, which was reported to be opening at 684 St. Clair Ave. W., and Café Belém’s expansion to 350 Oakwood Ave. in Corso Italia.
