A growing fast-casual chain has given Rockville residents hungry for healthier dining options reason to be excited. Just Salad is preparing to make its Montgomery County debut, bringing the dish promised by the title-and more-to the area, reports MoCo Show.
The restaurant is taking over the 12242 Rockville Pike that previously housed Bambu Cafe. An opening timeline is not presently available for Just Salad’s first Montgomery County location; the company has signed a lease for the space next to Wonder and has also had a building permit issued to prepare the storefront for the concept’s arrival.
Just Salad entered the fast-casual dining scene in 2006 in New York City. The chain answers an intensifying desire among diners for a quick, nutritious, and cost-effective option, and its model has led Just Salad to expand to more than 120 locations.
Despite what the name suggests, Just Salads does not, in fact, only offer salads, though they are a large portion of the menu. Customers can also select from a range of market plates, wraps, warm bowls, and smoothies.
