2026 is drawing to a close, but local Northern Virginia couple Ryna and Esdras Mayorga are ensuring the area doesn’t end the year without the arrival of a major dining newcomer. The duo plan to open Maylo’s Cafe, a concept dedicated to serving authentic Cambodian cuisine before the year is over, reports Patch.
Maylo’s will be serving Cambodian comfort food, bubble tea, and smoothies to Manassas diners at 8021 Centerville Road. Ryna explains the inspiration behind the new eatery, saying: “I always love cooking and sharing food with people, so it was just kind of something where the more we talked about it, the more we realized, hey, this is an opportunity to bring something different to the community. I’m really excited to finally make it happen.”
Maylo’s does not yet have a definitive opening date, however the Mayorgas plan to have the eatery customer-ready by the end of the year-and possibly as soon as November. Excited future customers can follow Maylo’s progress on its Facebook page to get the latest updates on when the restaurant will be ready to share its Cambodian comfort food, handcrafted bubble tea, refreshing smoothies, Cambodian coffee and traditional favorites made with love.”
Maylo’s promises to become a favorite for both those already in love with Cambodian cuisine and those eager to sample it. Ryna offers this appealing summation of her vision for the concept: “I just really wanted to create a place where people can experience Cambodian food in a welcoming environment, and have them try food that they’ve never tried before.”
