One of Clarendon’s most hotly anticipated new dining and drinking venues is taking shape, with a soft opening on the horizon. After slightly re-imagining its upcoming Arlington footprint, Charlottesville-based Three Notch’d Brewing Company is getting ready to greet customers later this year, reports local media outlet ARLNow.

The celebrated concept will be greeting guests in a ground-floor space at 2800 Clarendon Boulevard. The storefront was previously occupied by Barnes & Noble; the venerable bookstore will now be consolidated in the upper story and is set to re-open in early May.

Construction is currently underway on the restaurant. Three Notch’d Brewing president Scott Roth kindly confirmed to What Now DC that progress is moving along smoothly on the project-he states: “We are targeting a completion on construction around September and will definitely be opening the doors and welcoming guests this fall!”

Three Notch’d Brewing will be able to accommodate up to 350 guests in a spacious area with plenty of variety. Roth offers an exciting peek at what’s in store, saying: “Three Notch’d will bring a combination of great food, award winning beer, and handcrafted Three Notch’d distilled spirits to Clarendon.  Our flagship Northern Virginia location will feature a huge private event and viewing room, a tasting room to sample our monthly beverage club offerings, and a large restaurant and bar area.”

Clarendon diners hungry for further details about their next dining obsession can look forward to a menu featuring American pub favorites. Three Notch’d will be serving up delicious burgers, pretzel bites, and-of course-fries.

Three Notch’d is on deck to become a particular favorite for local beer enthusiasts; the concept will be bringing its Fresh Beer Club to the area, a program that invites participants to pay $20 a month for 2 packs of beer and 3 pint cards.

Roth and the Three Notch’d crew are enthusiastic about bringing the concept’s 8th location to Clarendon. Roth states: “The excitement is building and we are very excited to become a part of the Arlington community!”
