The undisputed leader in retail books is hoping to start a new chapter in Loudoun County. Barnes and Noble is aiming to open its second area store in Dulles Landing, news certain to delight the local literati, reports The Burn.
Barnes and Noble is pursuing the space left vacant when BuyBuy Baby closed its doors. The 24670 Dulles Landing Drive, #130 storefront would provide the book purveyor with ample space to set up shop, spanning 23,000 square feet.
Loudoun County readers shouldn’t dog-ear their pages just yet; Barnes and Noble is only in the permitting phase, making it impossible to reasonably estimate an opening date. In the meantime, readers can scratch their literary itches at the chain’s One Loudoun location.
The Dulles Landing storefront is a prime location for any retailer; if all goes according to plan, Barnes and Noble will be joining heavy-hitters including Wal-Mart, Ulta, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Five Below.
